BetonWood Tongue&Groove cement bonded particle boards

BetonWood Tongue&Groove

BetonWood Tongue&Groove cement bonded particle board has a high density (1350 Kg/m³) and high compressive strength (9000.00 KPa) and is therefore suitable for use in dry screeds, thermal composite systems (for example BetonTherm system) and in all public places where there is need for a hard, durable, fire-certified class A2 material. This panel differs from BetonWood for the special profile of the tongue-and-groove joint edges.

DESCRIPTION

BetonWood Tongue&Groove cement bonded particle boards is a material that adapts to multiple uses in the building industry. Made of high-density (1350 Kg/m³) Portland cement and stripped pine wood fibers, this particular panel guarantees an excellent solution for interventions aimed at obtaining high levels of thermal displacement, thanks to its high density which makes it suitable also for self-supporting dry screeds, radiant floors and stiffening structures.
This particular panel has the particularity of having tongue&groove edges for a joint and an optimal laying precision.
BetonWood Tongue&Groove cement bonded particle board is excellent for elevated dry screeds.

BetonWood panels combine the advantageous characteristics of concrete with the characteristics of wood. The structure of the panel is made of wood chips and fragments that form the upper layer on both sides, up to a rough layer in the central part. The edges are tongue & groove, with a gray color.
BetonWood Tongue&Groove has the following characteristics:

• it is resistant to climate change and frost;
• insects and fungi are unable to attack or damage it;
• thanks to its physical and mechanical characteristics, the product is considered as one of the best lightweight construction materials;
• it is incombustible (A2 according to Standard DIN 4102);
• it is free from formaldehyde and free of asbestos, etc.;
• free of recycled Inks (present in materials with recycled cellulose);
• weather resistant;
• workable with wooden tools;
• high flow rate.

BetonWood Tongue&Groove cement bonded particle boards are also available in Sanded version, coming from standard panels properly sanded and calibrated with special machines, to bring the thickness of the panels to lower dimensional tolerances. These particular panels have the characteristic of being aesthetically pleasing, since the wood contained inside stands out on the upper and lower part, compared to the standard panel, which instead has the particularity of having a totally cementitious appearance.

• the delivery of the material normally takes place by truck, considering the high mass of the pallets it is advisable that the recipient has suitable equipment and mechanical lifting equipment with minimum capacities of 35/40 quintals for unloading the goods;
• it is advisable to deposit the boards by stacking them one on top of the other and so as to keep them in a horizontal position, with supports having a square section and a minimum distance of 80 cm;
• individual panels must be transported by cutting, never horizontally;
• avoid direct exposure to sunlight and adequately cover the material to avoid excessive dust accumulation;
• the pallets are equipped with an upper protection plate, which must be repositioned each time over the other tables and weighted upward to avoid the distortion of the plates below it.
